Maybe the best spot in northern Germany. Huge shallow bay with mostly flat water, scenic landscape. Good infrastructure: especially the little café with view of the bay where you can deposit your nonsurfing entourage. The spot tends to be overcrowded when conditions are right during the summer - no problem though if you do not mind riding further offshore.
Good spot for wind from south, nice little beach, parking along the dike is very close.
Watch out for bigger ships, the traffic channel is close. Note: The lighthouse at the end of the beach tends to create a swirl.
